Research

Teaching Methods

Staff at Jigsaw are encouraged to present data from the school at UK and international conferences. They are also encouraged to write up their research for publication. As part of the CABAS® teaching ranks staff are required to write up small research projects of which one of them from the first teaching rank and all of them from the second teaching rank are to a standard that could be included in a conference presentation. Attendance at these conferences also enables staff to learn about other worldwide ABA providers. New tactics and strategies are introduced at conferences which staff are encouraged to replicate where appropriate. Details of all the Jigsaw publications are listed below.  For all conference presentations, click on 'Presentations' above.

Further information on any of these can be obtained from Emma Hawkins at emmahawkins@jigsawschool.co.uk
