Welcome

Jigsaw School is a UK registered charity. We are an independent day school, registered with the DCSF to provide specialist education and life skills training for children with autistic spectrum disorders and related communication disorders.
“Jigsaw School provides a lifeline for my son”
Jigsaw School is unique: it is the only school of its kind in Surrey that offers applied behaviour analysis as a teaching methodology and it exists to improve the lives of children and families affected by autism through education, training and research.
“The School helps my son make sense of an otherwise confusing world for him”
The School, which is based in Dunsfold, Surrey, was founded by a group of parents and has grown since it opened in September 1999 to provide a much needed resource for up to 40 children from 4 through to 19 years of age.
“Jigsaw provides an environment where his disability is no longer a restraining factor, but one which is understood and worked around to bring him both learning and happiness”
Whilst fees from Local Education Authorities fund the core costs of the school, it relies heavily on fundraising initiatives to continue to develop, expand and resource its facilities. The funds raised make a huge difference to the children's lives at school, as well as improving the whole family's time at home.
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference”
Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken
