World Autism Awarenes Day 2013

April 02nd 2013

In its 6th year, the United Nations’ World Autism Awareness Day is being celebrated the world over with iconic landmarks being floodlit blue.

In previous years the world has seen the Empire State Building, Sears Tower, Niagra Falls, the Pyramids and Surrey’s GUILDFORD CATHEDRAL (amongst many other global landmarks) proudly shine blue for autism awareness.

Autism is a hidden disability, you can’t always tell if someone has it.  Whilst autism is incurable, the right support, at the right time can make an enormous difference to people’s lives.
