Winkle Club Santa Drop
December 2007

The Winkle Club put smiles on the faces of our Guildford pupils on Monday, 17th December. Santa arrived at 12 noon and handed out some specially selected festive gifts for each of the children.

The Winkle Club have also pledged another £1700 for resources at Guildford, to include musical instruments, so another thank you to them.

Recent Donations
December 2007

Thank you to the following who have recently donated to Jigsaw:

	Surrey Community Foundation kindly donated £3,000 specifically for the new Dunsfold playground.
	Champney’s Charitable Trust also generously gave £2,215 for the new playground.
	Guildford Lions (Fireworks), supported by Lloyds TSB, donated a massive £6,000 to The Jigsaw Trust. £4,500 of this has gone towards the playground with the remaining £1,500 being put towards resources for the Guildford School.
	Rosie Phillips kindly donated £137.75 from her Pampered Chef sales commission following the Shopping Night.

Jigsaw Annual Shopping Night
November 2007

On Wednesday, 21st November Dunsfold hosted the Annual Jigsaw Shopping Night. With stalls ranging from massage to pashminas through to jewellery, leather goods, homewares and more it was a hugely successful fundraising event. Jigsaw made the grand total of approximately £900 from this evening and thank you to everyone who came and helped/supported us on the evening.
Kim Robson (Presenter, Eagle 96.4FM) came along after her Drive-Time show to lend her support to the school and draw the winning raffle tickets for us.

A massive thank you to those who have continued to use our Buy.at Webshop. We are delighted to tell you that the shop raised £841 during the 2006/2007 academic year.

Please remind all your friends and family to continue to use the site for their online shopping. There are some great stores linked to the site including Tesco, Play.com and MFI. Jigsaw School gains money through commission on the website with no extra cost to the purchaser. To help you remember to use the Webshop, save it as your home page.

September 2007

Thank you to the following who have recently donated to Jigsaw:

	Harley Davidson Rally raised £111 for Jigsaw - a big thank you to the South of England Rally Manager, Nick Ovenden, who arranged for £1 from every t-shrit sold at the rally to be donated to jigsaw
	£500 donated through Christening - we were very pleased to help a friend of Jigsaw at the christening of their child in Greece by producing a tag for their favour parcels (thanks to Colourgraphic Arts) as a kind gesture to Jigsaw the family donated £500 to the school. Thank you!

The Great British Duck Race 2007
September 2007

On September 2nd 2007, approximately 165,000 plastic ducks were launched onto the River Thames for a 1km race that aimed to break a Guiness World Record and raise £500,000 for UK charities. The first duck to cross the line won £10,000 and the following 30 ducks that crossed received other fantastic prizes!

Jigsaw Grand Summer Draw 2007 Winners

Tesco and Sainsbury’s Voucher Schemes

Thank you to all those who collected vouchers for the Jigsaw school.
You will be pleased to hear that we beat last years total collecting 14,200 Sainsbury’s vouchers and 5,600 Tesco’s vouchers! The vouchers will be used to buy valuable classroom resources for both school sites. We will let you know what we purchase soon.
